I would like to replace the filament bulb in the front fog lights which are recessed in the bumper with a LED equivalent. These lights do not have any screws in the front lens as those in the rear.

. Are these  lights supposed to be watertight???

Does the back cover come off ??

Any idea how this is done?k

You guidance on this  is welcome.

There's a plastic cover which has 2 screws at the bottom. Release them and the cover comes away revealing the screws securing the foglight. 463 I presume?

They have a rubber seal that is supposed to keep the water out but my experience after any deep water crossing is that they become a good place to keep a Goldfishsmiley .

There should be a breather pipe on the rear of each light (to allow condensation to evaporate). Sometimes, this is disconnected and not replaced, or has become loose, allowing water to enter easily. Put some petroleum jelly or silicone grease on the seal behind the glass lens.
