Hello All,

Quick question(s), hopefully quick and simple answer out there...

Trying to remove plastic bumper ends - attached by top and bottom bolts (see very unexciting pics, apologies nothing like the exciting Unimog). Can get the bolts rotating, but this includes the rounded outside part and not found a way to lock these, hence nothing coming undone! Is there a trick to this???? [or is it case of destruction via trusty angle grinder?] Thought rounded outside bit might be just a 'cap', but not so sure having tried to remove.

Note - bumper removed for access to rear outrigger that needs a spot of welding, but as usual 1 job has become 2,3,4 etc.!

Oh, no doubt will need new bolts (well, every bolt remove needs replacing, 'but why, no rust at all' as the pictures clearly show lol), so any chance any one know the part numbers (and the 4 x bumper bolts)?

Cheers,

Stewart

 They're just standard coach bilts

But the square section under the round head has probably rusted away

Grind the nuts off underneath

MB ones aren't cheap M6 x 20mm or so black coach bolts on eBay are cheap
