I have to replace the rear wiper button and wanted to know what the fastest way to remove it is. Does it just pull out? Thanks

W460, yes, I think, so

W463, you need to first remove the wood panel fascia and to do that you first need to remove the wood trim strip above it, and to do that you may need to remove the steering column trim covers..

If it is a 460 remove the ash tray and gently push the switch out from behind.

Are you sure it is the switch that has failed?

usually, the wires break in the rear-door, where they bend back and forth from opening and closing the door.

Re: rear wiper button
I have a 463, I will double check the back before I start taking things off. The rear wiper was working fine then stopped working for a while before just suddenly working fine again and finally just stop again. I check the motor and it looked fine. I have a spare switch so was going to try that and see if it was the switch that failed.
