Rear wiper and defroster doesnt operate

Hi mates, I have W463 270cdi 2002. My prob is that rear wiper (washer also) and rear windows defroster one day stopped operate...das xentry diag shows no faults in rear sam...when I try to actuate rear wiper by diagnostic device everything works well...does anybody here similar issue? Thanks for any idea.

If it can be operated through diagnostics, the problem must be with the switch on the dashboard or its link to the communication bus with the control module.

Thanks for Tip! In diag when I check upper control panel all buttons are OK..."Can connector" in right A pillar is also OK...I read that somewhere under airbox in engine space are cables which they used to be rusted. I have to check it.
