Rear Door
Dear All,
Would anyone happen to know if a newer back door (Tailgate) with the camera/Light at the top would fit my 1999 G 500, i'm looking to replace the door but i wanted to be sure of the fitment, i'm unsure of the year of G Wagen the newer door off

You could just mount a camera on the rear rather than buying a door with camera.
Of course you would need to place a correct size hole for mounting the camera.
Theres many after market units that you can marry upto Din suze unit stereos ie. Yours being a 99' w463.... if you have a flip out camera from the old days... or you could fit a small screen rear view mirror that has a screen built in that unit..

old, slow website. it is not obvious when you post the topic (no egg timer), so i just clean the duplicates out. It takes about 45secs for a new post to complete.
Agree with the add on approach.
Some Dashcams now come with rear-view camera (bluetooth connected), so you get a loop recording and it includes the rear view.
