Re: Project

This is Diesel Jim's truck,  there's a thread on the site showing his progress, shame he's not completing it

Re: Project

Re: Project

Yeah, it's a shame I've got to sell it.  But the slush fund has run dry at the moment.  On the plus side, our mortgage fixed period finished in a couple of months, so with our current savings we can throw all the £££ at the bank and have a very small mortgage, which should be paid off within a year or 2, so after that cash flow will be  much much better, I can look for another project G then.

Yes PRWales, you're right, I've bought the bulk of the big expensive bits (engine/box, sump, mounts, Ole's gearbox controller, the hybrid injection pump)

I estimate it'll need another £1000 to get it running and drivable (mainly oil cooler pipes for engine oil, gearbox and PAS), plus the drive flange for the gearbox (which I've got one waiting for me once I manage to cobble together the cash for it)

then another £1000 maybe for a paint job/clean up and interior sorting out to your own needs. It's totally standard inside at present.

thanks for all the interest!
