Hello,

I have  been ale to verify that the original factory-fit parking sensors on the W463 were an OEM version of the Bosch Park Pilot URF-4. In fact, the two versions are identical except for the sensor mounting retainers on to the bumper.

The URF-4 kit can be found on eBay Germany as new old stock for around €100, but the system has been replaced by the URF-7, wihich is 3 generations newer and  has physically smaller sensors with improved performance. This kit can be found on Amazon for about £130. All have the same display unit with coloured LEDs and variable beeps -the same display unit as the factory-fit version. At least up to 2012., I think.

The kits contain complete wiring looms, fixing parts, ties etc, and all that is required are connections to battery, ignition and reversing light signal. There is also the facility for a switch to disable the system when towing.

The 463 bumpers have internal marks to indicate where to drill the holes, but the end caps do not and so these holes need to be judged.

Of course, the is no reason why the kit cannot be fitted to a 460 or any other vehicle. There is also an add on available for front sensors,, but it's only the latest G's that have the front sensors.

Yes, but they are post 2012 and unless re-drilled will require new sensors from MB, as its no longer the  Bosch Park-Pilot system on new G's.
