OM 603
I have an om603 engine in my 463 which runs like a dream.
Can anyone tell me what other vehicles use the same engine?
Also has anyone tried replacing the air filter element with a K&N one? If so was there any difference in power?

As far as I know, the OM603 was only fitted in naturally aspirated form to the W124 saloon (300 D), apart from the 300 GD.
If you count also the five-cylinder version (OM602), then it was fitted to both the W124 (250 D) and W201 (190 D 2.5), the W461 (250 GD and 290 GD, this one named OM602 29) and the W463 (250 GD). The four potter (named OM601 I believe) was only fitted to the W201 (190 D).
Meaning that if you're looking for second hand parts for the engine, the scope of seach is quite wide.
