New G 350GD from Barcelona
Hello everyone! I have just purchased a 1993 G Wagon 350GD :) I have to say it is a dream come true. I would like to start with 2 questions and thank you all for your help in advance: - where can I buy the interior "fuse box cover", do you know any page? I have been searching on the web with no luck at all. - What type of engine oil do you recommend me? Shell Helix 10/40? Thanxxxx
If by 'Fuse-box cover' you mean the carpeted flap that hinges from the back and has two twist-studs to fasten, then you'll have to go to an MB dealer parts dept and see if they are still available to order new and then probably pay a lot of money for one. Or look on German ebay or for listings of G-wagens being broken for parts.
Yes, that's the one. the cover is a profiled hard bit of carpet (grey or black). It is fastened at the bottom edge by 4 plastic rivets and it bend there to form a hinge. the upper edge is fastened over the fuse box by 2 twist lock fasteners
Assuming LHD, if so they are available new and used at reasonable price, different colour choice
RHD are No Longer Available last check in most colours...
Thank you very much! It´s a LHD so luckily i´ll go and ask a Mercedes dealer and see if I can get it. There´s no other website where I can buy it?
