I have noticed below each contributors sign in a word "newbie", now call me thick but I thought that's where they lived until it occured to me that most of the Gwagens in the country are owned by people in Newbie!, I thought, I must visit Newbie one day and then I looked at my postings and I'm from Newbie too!. I finally figured it out, so, how do I change from a Newbie to a member as I have been one for 3 years? answers on a postcard to guerdeval,newbie,somewhere in UK.
Newbie was "bypassed" a few years back. Swampy was asked to open it
The "Newbie" under your name is a ranking that refers to the number of posts you have entered. Not the fact that you are a GWOA Member, though this also appears under your name a little further down.
You become listed as a member at 50 posts.
I seem to have been posting Newbie's for ages! (Phew, another one less)
