Hello,

I am thinking of updating the mirrors on my 1996 463 with the later versions that have built-in indicators and down-light. However, to make it easier, I was thinking of transplanting the motor mechanism straight from the old mirrors to the new ones, so as not to have to rewire the electrical connectors, as the new connectors  are different.

Does anyone know whether the Motor mechanisms and their mounting plates are the same for both mirror versions?

Thanks

Re: Mirrors

Maybe by then I will have tried it out,. I just managed to get hold of a fair of new-type shells with the indicator lights.
