Trying to replace the solid sections of fuel pipe that run down the chassis rails, have a long piece of the original stuff, but how go form those mild flares/bulge at the end like the original pipe? What tools are needed? Brake pipe flare produces wrong shape. With the flare in place a fuel pipe clip hardly needed. without flare clips have to be done up tight.

I think ordinarily this is either too expensive to equip or try getting the likes of Pirtek (more of hose specialist than pipe work) to see if they do the ends for you.

Easiest thing to do, forget flaring.

with the pipe held vertical downwards, run a bead of solder around the end of the pipe, if you get the temerature right it should bulge to the shape you need.
