Leather interior
If the cloth interior is in good condition and original, you may be devaluing your vehicle by replacing it.
But if you really want to, then parts from a LWB could be made to fit, but generally, they have a different split arrangement to the rear seats.
front seat s from and SLK have sometimes been used, but bear in mind that the front seats on a G are relatively narrow and on an SWB, they need to be light enough to tilt forwards for rear access.
The best option may be to get it re-trimmed, but that will be around £2k for a good job, with good quality leather, piping on the seat edges, and some quilting in the door panels.
e class w124 seats are too wide but those from the w201/2 the 190 series and the 1st C Class cars do fit
"tastefully"
Each to his own I guess.
that's stomach churning fortunately it hasn't carried over to the exterior
EEK!
It looks like it's been re-trimmed in hundreds of tatty old leather jackets.
Must have cost a fortune though.
They are the before photos ! Surely ?
Somehow I can't get it out of my mind that this must have been done for Dr Hannibal Lecter to drive in Silence of the Lambs.
But then the director said - "nah, it's too much. No-one would believe that anyone could drive such a thing"
Oh God - I hope it doesn't belong to anyone on here. This'll be another site I get thrown off.
Is this for real?????
Hi
I would swap that interior any day for mine
Dont like the steering wheel though
For the shit i put my trim to it would wipe down nice and easy
My drivers seat has started to sprout a winter squirrel drey on the backrest, or may be a rooks nest
My wife said why do you do mechanical (the seats did not bother me until she said) i would fix your seat first as its wearing away
Its not bad but it is a bit thread bare on the back bolster
I have purchased some seats for front. Not grey to match interior but black
The back seats are full of shite anyway so no one will know anyway
Its my recreational vehicle that i love to own but mechanically and body wise its tip top with no filler or bodged welding and goes well with the 606
