hello all,

I hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

There are 2 vacuum pipes coming from the auto gearbox on my 3.6 petrol, one is red, one green.

They have not been connected properly and I cannot find out where they go to.

I have 2 new solenoid type switches part number A 002 540 70 97 with 3 connections but no idea what goes where.

I have tried a mix of plug and play and at best the engine cuts out, at worst there is no kick down on the gearbox.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Please furnish your chassis number to see what I can research.

I would have thought that the kick down would be an electric solenoid not vacuum operated. The red and green pipes attached to the switch over valves serve another purpose.

Hi,

ahh, what are the red and green supposed to go to please?

There is the sport / eco switch next to the gear selector that also has little effect.

The engine is not original and is a 3.6 amg  petrol 104 model.

Thank you.
