Head lamp saga
Remember the saga with my left hand headlamps .well I finally heard from Gwent and was told they couldnt get them so as a matter of curiosity I called my local Merc dealer AND VW dealer as they same as VWgolf mk2.
VW lamps were £46 each now wait for it
ANDY at Medway Merc can do original G ones for..... £36 each this includes all back plate so I wont have to phaff adjusting them but just screw them into place..
and he will deliver to my door as he always does for free....

Sorry to dampen your joy but not long ago I posted a message in the forum explaining that you can get the W460 headlights from any Hella distributor for £ 26 each and that includes all the back plate as well.

Anyway, the price quoted by your man at Medway is very fair given that the official one is £ 52 each.

I did try a few Hella distributors but none would do the LHD ones enabling me to drive in France on the Right without beam deflectors.
