I was wondering if anyone here was at the meet? Just been going through some photos Jesus had of the meet and I came across this photo:

https://plus.google.com/photos/105626626853585231585/albums/5229734716680743457/5229734771535098482?banner=pwa&pid=5229734771535098482&oid=105626626853585231585

So I pulled a photo from a few years ago of mine before the rust took hold:

If you look closely the MB decals on the side over the rear arch match up. The wheels are BWA and match in both photos and what you can't see in the second photo is that the number plate position and the spare wheel cover also match. Just thought it was a bit of a coincidence, haven't seen any others to date with the same decals let alone one in red. I know mine was bought privately in Leatherhead in Surrey can't remember which year off the top of my head but would have been probably after 2001. Anyone have any ideas whose this one was?

The American "actor's" name is Randal Paul and I worked with him to run that site. That was a good day at Michael's Wood in Wiltshire. The dark green Steyr Puch badged G was mine, or rather, one of my demonstrators. Happy days.

The site is now Woodland Cemetery. Always knew all those holes we dug would come in for something useful eventually.

Looks like it was a great day out, note to self: need to make more of an effort to attend this years' AGM. Still, would be a bit difficult to do any off roading with my G in pieces.. I take it noone recalls who had the red G? Or perhaps some photos with it in? It would be interesting to see if it was the same one.

Was the Red G the 'Chairmans'? - David Watkins?
