G'day Chaps.!
Can anybody enlighten me further to a slowly revealing abyss of despair .
We are in charge of a w460 G landerwagon, the more we poke and Prod the
more Holes appear,To cut to the chase,it will need two shock absorbers rear..
Sachs touring 635220340, there is one broken spring and appears an upper and lower donut affair that
accomodate the spring in mounts with a large rubber stub,that has become detached long ago
on some heavy"Bottoming Out...!".............So I guess one anybody know if these springs and Donuts are commercially available for other vehicles, and what would be the best course to change them,,,all activity taking place in the English Monsoon with a Large Hammer and very little idea..A little perilous as the whole Project is supported with Goodwill alone.To drop the rear subassembly off,and change the Springs...would it be a matter of jacks to either side of the Chasis, a trolley jack under the Diff.with the compression of spring clamps, slowly lowering the entire rear assembly....or would this be a fast track to becoming a Flat person with a large spring inserted in ones left Nostril..........................!
Just an aside .........should really have bought the Montego Country Man with Vinyl Wood effect...but would really appreciate any strain of Enlightenment, or sanity.......Cheers

They are all bloody poorly pal it's called "G"Bola !!! Welcome to the club this is where the very wise men will teach you how to mix the correct dosage and how to administer the medicine.
Sadly I have no idea and thankfully someone else replaced the shocks and springs on mine (although they made a f*$%"&^ buggers mess of the exhaust pipe)
What about your throttle linkage ? Yeah I can help ya with that !

i have a set of shocks & springs OK++++++ condition have just taken them of my
W460 ONLY REASON i took them of was to upgrade to ORC SETUP
you can have cheap as they will only sit in my shed
