Hi everybody,

I just have to tell you all what a fantastic weekend I had in Wales, remember that Bil Moss asked for a codriver for a Dutch G that was coming over? Well, that turned out to be myself.
We all met up in Rugby on saturday morning: that is myself, Bill, and 3 dutch G's.
We then left for Wales where some very interesting greenlanes jad been mapped out by Impala adventures with the Tulipstyle roadbooks. After a day of hard offroading we went to the farm where we stayed, had a meal and then Bill and I ventured out again to do some more lanes(in the dark) the rest was too tired after the long trip from Holland!
Very satisfying to be able to pull out one of the organizers landrovers :D

The second day was even better, beautifull lanes, lovely scenery and best of all, comment from a landroverowner: pretty impressive these G's arn't they!!!
Even with the difflocks we struggled in a few places, don't know how the landrovers managed?

It was a terrific weekend and totally nondamaging and I for one can't wait to go again,
Maybe it would be an idea to organise something like this with some G's from the club one time? and really use them for what they were designed to do.

A big thank you to Bill for getting this all together!

regards Richard

This is what this forum is about and that is something that we are advocating from here. Everybody is welcome to post any future events in the relevant section of the forum. BTW we have an event this Sunday near Arundel so please let us know if you are intending to come. Cheers
