If you can't afford a G and wanna try them out there are some reasonable PC games around. Two come to mind.

Screamer 4x4
Very much an off-roading game, you can drive various version of the G in that you can customise tyres, suspension and engine. It includes all the other proper 4x4's, icluding Landy's and a Unimog. You can get it from http://www.virginmegastores.co.uk/pws/ViewObject.vms?origin=pwssearchresult.jsp&event=link(pwsviewobject)&ot=review&ps_euk=509290
for £4.99 including delivery. You can still find at PC world and other stores such as Game.

Mercedes Benz World Racing
Much more of an on road driving game, you can drive various G versions. The demo contains a track drive of a 463 G500 and and off-road checkpoint track. The off road driving is an appaulling simulation un-like screamer 4x4. This is a much newer game and is around £15 from shops such as PC world and Game. You can also get this on X-box, Gamecube and PS2.

You will need a 3D card to play both these games, as they are quite smart looking.
800Mhz + Processor for good response. Enjoy. A.d.

I agree in most cases, but a laptop doesn't beat the power of a PC for games...

Mercedes Benz World Racing, yeah i had this game on the cube few years ago now, remember the G wagon being the slowest and the first motor that you can try the tracks out on, great fun  : ]=
