If anybody is interested, Dale Harrison of www.haflingertechnik.com has a MoDUK spec prototype lwb 290GDT soft-top for sale. It's an unregistered vehicle. Originally it was made for Automotive Technik to demonstrate to MoD UK in 1999, but plans changed and it sat around at the Graz factory for a long time before it was finally offered to me by Steyr, 'cos they knew I was mad about the Gs we had already sold to various fire brigades in UK. I couldn't afford it and in the end Peter Ward bought it. Now Dale has it, and it's up for grabs on his website. It's a lovely vehicle, but bear in mind it features fairly basic military trim. Well worth a look though and it should definitely go to an enthusiast who will appreciate it..
