We take one 460.
Pull out the radiator, engine, exhaust, gearbox, transfer box, propshafts, gear lever, diff lock levers, fuel tank and a few other "not-needed's".
Then find/make up 4 of the meanest electric hub motors known to man, that will fit inside each wheel. Aim for 100kW per wheel.
Build a nice flat shaped shallow tray by welding a plate flush with the bottom of the chassis main beams to hold the batteries, where all the last-century gearboxes, props, exhaust, etc used to be.
Then get Milwaukee to sort us out with a G load of their meanest red lithiums. Reckon they'd jump at the chance of such publicity! They may even like the idea of giving crystaline a run for their money and sort us out with a super duper version of their "fuel" brushless motors.
Somewhere between us will be a guru to wire it all up.
Will work well - lots of torque low down, permanent all wheel drive and quick!
Then drive it up to Mercedes' design boffins and hand them a petition saying STOP MESSING AROUND AND BUILD THIS!
Go on, we can do this!
