Hello everyone, I'am very new here but here is what's on my mind. i have the following two cars

2004 G400 (LHD) 333km full Merc service history and car drives good
2006 ML420 (RHD) 80k miles, car drives perfectly and pulls amazingly

i love the G400 and i want to transplant the 420CDI plus turn it into a RHD.
I've already purchased a used 2010 RHD Dashboard and since i have a complete ML420CDI to use any part i need, How hard that will be and for what i should watch out?

i am mostly concern about the electronics all your answers will be much appreciated

Watch out for the steering arrangement, and the mounting of the steering box, which may not be so easy to transplant to the right, as well as requiring a new, RHD steering box.

Otherwise, engine transplant sounds like a great idea. BUT I don't think that the ECUs will be a straight swap and you may need the services of someone very proficient with re-coding. Thinking about ESP and instrument binnacle etc.
