G-Wagen or G-Wagon?
G-Wagen or G-Wagon? Which is correct?
I suppose that as it's an abbreviation of the German gelaendewagen then it should be wagen
But if you want English for wagen then it's wagon.
There you are - that doesn't help you at all, does it?
G-Wagen; comes from the German word Geländewagen
now they call it a G- class or is it G-Klasse
Mercedes-Benz have even used "G-Wagon" in some of their brochures...
Yes, in the USA it's all G-Wagon

As we are in the EU and I speak a bit of German I usually opt for wagen pronounced vahgen. They can't pronounce W's too well, a Volkswagen usually abbreviated to VW is pronounced fow vey
Hopefuly brexit will make it better and we wont be in the EU and stand on our own 2 feet again, or 4
It wont help spelling or translations though nor will g wagons become any cheaper until the pound is strong again
Im winning now with the poor euro rate as i am selling lots of my vintage trials bike parts to the people i bought them off 8 years ago . Im selling them back for almost double and they are happy im happy
We will never win and g wagon parts are expensive but they last and are proven. I actually dont mind buying the parts as some have done 200000 thousand miles and are still fine
Land rover has improved but i still get the same comments as i did with my toyota. I still laugh
Toyota track rod end was 97 pounds plus vat and was perfect but bent from an accident when i bought it
Landrover guys laughed and said ours are only 14 pounds
My laugh is they have replaced 1 or 2 per year and this does not take into account having the car tracked after fitting and even if you did it yourself you are still losing as my truck was 14 years old
Bless their minds lol and their maths for some of them
All good fun and g wagons are ace
Downside is i have been looking to buy 2 from japan but prices have rocketed
To the point
Volkswagon is actually volkswagen and this applies to g wagons too
Properly it a mercedes g wagen or steyer puch wagen
They say g wagen we say wagon
We say tomato they say grandevectenverthousenfruitroteaterenechctmixedgrille
Same thing to be fair
Its those posh headlights that dazzle you lol
