G Wagen Height

Hi All Bit of meaningless trivia - I'm using the Eurotunnel and this prompted me to finally get a proper view on car height - so my wife has a Touareg which has come in at 1.709m tall. So that fits. But the G is listed in standard from at 1.931m tall! I have noticed a few folk talk about being nervous approaching car parks and I use a 2m guide after 'nudging' the rubber roofline strip against a car park 1.85m height market board (and mine has an unintentional lift due to a complete set of Ironman Springs & Shocks - Highly recommend BTW. Needless to say the G is classed as a 'Tall' vehicle by Eurotunnel! But the upside is you can see them a mile away in car parks!! Simon

Mine is 1998 mm high and to be safe, I don't attempt any car park under 2.10 m, since if there is a steep ramp, it will raise the height as the front wheels move onto on the ramp while the rear wheels are still on level floor.
