Yup .. repair them at a radiator/heat exchanger place. Ideally hot pressure washer and wire brush it first plus supply loosened fuel sensor top part so they can seal the tank. They braze steel plates over the top of the cleaned rust which will stop it leaking. I managed to land the G on a trolley jack on the fuel tank (with a new steel protection plate) after the jack slipped off the rear axle diff housing. The panard rod did take a bend which was straightened in a press but the protection plate just hammered out and the fuel tank which was 20% under sized (but no leak!) hammered out with wood through the top hole. So repair is normally very possible; just do not get them to paint it.. and then paint it yourself with epoxymastic water proof paint .. and it will last years.
