Hi, I just dropped this post on the back of my last post and perhaps it has not drawn any attention. Regarding the front axle diff oil change, the vehicle was level and wheels on the ground and drained. When it came to filling, I only took about 0.9 Litre, all data I have read states it should take 1.4 Litre. Assuming now that perhaps it did not drain fully, but I let it drip to a stop for a couple of hours. Any thoughts welcomed. TC

Usually, 3 litres is sufficient for both front and rear. I thought it was about 1.1L at the front and 1.6L at the rear.

Anyway, perhaps you didn't drain it completely but as long as you reach the fill-plug level on re-fill, that should be fine.

Thanks again Arnie, Seems like you always come to the rescue - which is much appreciated. I'll buy you a sherbet if ever we meet. TC
