Early W463 heater control and diff lock switch illumination.
Hi everyone, now it's dark again in the mornings I really need to sort out the illumination on my heater controls and diff locks switches. Can anyone point me in the right direction please before I dismantle half the car? My centre console mounted rear window switches are also in the dark, do they have their own little bulbs? Any help would be great! Thanks Mud
The heater slider control as a separate bulb/s which can be replaced. The switches have an integral bulb which is generally not replaceable, you need a new switch. The heater bulb replacement necessitates the removal of the centre console which is no small task. Switches are upward of £30 so you may wish to memorise the locations :)
