Dubai
I believe 75 percent of the AMG G production drives around in Dubai..I have just spend a couple for days here for work and it's just astonishing how many drive around here. No diesels and all AMG spec. Why settle for less ?? Unreal.
Well its starts from the top
It is said a G saved his life.....The ruler of Dubai
SHEIKH MOHAMMED BIN RASHID AL MAKTOUM, WHO OWNS NOT ONE BUT THREE 2013 G63 AMG SUV'S, WITH PLATES NUMBERED “1”, “5” AND “11”

Above link is not working.
I can say - there are some 'Cool' cats who have 500's out there, no need for bling'ing it up
Spider1V
Can't see him talking about gear ratios or what engine he's going to drop in his Doka he's building out in his back yard.
And anyway he'd only drone on and on about V8 this and V8 that.. We've already got someone for that..
Thanks Mark for the link.
Why don't we send the Sheikh an application form? Perhaps invite him to our 20th do? Who know he may inject some capital into the club.
Yes diesels are very rare, but many of those you saw may be 500s and 320s, as body kits are big business over there, mostly aftermarket. Many garages will turn your G into an AMG lookalike for about £2000 (wheels, arches, lights, exhaust, etc.) but you pay more for genuine parts.
A quick look on http://uae.dubizzle.com shows 100+ for sale, most of them with AMG looks. The genuine G63 and 65s are less common, but still many more than will be sold in the UK in any given year. They hold their value very well but a bit less than in the UK due to the plentiful supply.
Sounds to me the mighty sheik is missing out not being a GWOA member.
