Does anyone know where I can get a replacement boot for the drag link on the steering box side, or where to source alternatives?

Re: Drag link gaiter

This topic has come up many times in the past and has several posts of alternative sources; not having the time at the mo, I suggest doing a search on this and you should have an answer.

If no one has come up with this link, I'll have a go myself to see if I caa find this but latter on.

Re: Drag link gaiter

Hi

Yes i have seen this. The original plastic type boots are not available. They last well and are very good

Technical bit

There are rubber type boots which sort of fit. You have to knock off the metal collar thats pressed on with original boot then fit rubber ones. The clip wont fit as the lip on joint is too tiny but it will hold itself tight when fitted

I made some press on steel collars that are a touch  taller with a grove for rubber boot so i can clip it on

Depends how fussy you are and anyway if it holds grease and is not split its a good start without a machined collar
