Leafing through Practical Classics (June '17) magazine the other day I noticed a piece on car body trim.

I seem to recall that some members have had difficulty sourcing various rubber trims and wondered why they should be so elusive and expensive to get.

"Woolies" is the place to go!

A quick snip of the doorseal on my 460 and I posted off a piece of expired rubber trim.

By return post Woolies sent me back a sample.

Their response and customer service are exemplary and, in the best sense of the phrase, Old Fashioned.

The rubber doorseal trim to suit a G-Wagen 460  is Woolies part number "266"

All the best,

Nick.

Re: Doorseal

I know 460/463 size wise the same for door seal but is the only difference the internal coloured bit to match the trim on the 463. Plus the fact 463 door seal a lot of £££

Re: Doorseal
Woolies got the package to me (Highlands) by First Class Royal Mail to arrive the very next day. It is both ridiculously easy and hugely satisfying to hoik out the kernackered old doorseal and replace it with the new one. I awarded myself a mug of tea in recognition of a good job well done.

Re: Doorseal

So I'm guessing the 463 part number for black interior is 266-blk at £11.95 a meter.. Bargin.

Re: Doorseal
It would be worth a telephone call, Simon. I posted Woolies a sample which they matched and it cost me £24 all in, delivered, to do one door.
