David Grix RIP
Unfortunately I did not get to meet David but he was one serious G enthusiast and adventurer. He built an extraordinary Expedition G which is now in my care. It has been on a number of trips including Western Sahara / Mauritania, southern deserts of Tunisia and Libya, and the Central African Republic to my knowledge. Before we was stricken with ill-health he was preparing his G for further expeditions. It now configured as a two seater with rack and roof tent. inboard fuel tanks for 400 litres (yes 400!), inboard water tank, air compressors, triple battery system etc etc. A one of a kind vehicle intended for ultra long haul reliability.
I am honoured to be the custodian of this vehicle for now and wish David "Gute Fahrt" on his final journey.
