I seen somewhere on a US based forum, a guy who had fitted LED's in place of the dim bulbs to a W460. Anyone know what size and how many are needed before taking the clocks apart?

Thanks

I've done it red .it was to dull and blue was to bright.i will take a picture.

the way led light spreads is not the same and the old circular fittings are a nightmare

but still looks better than original

Re: Dash / Clock Lights?

Did you use replacement bulbs? or did you wire in LED's?

If your LED's are not giving equal light, a trick i have used in the past is to sand the tops flat as this stops the light 'hotspotting'.

Interested in seeing the pics and method :)

Do they fit in existing lamp holder? Or are there adapters? How does the upgrade work? Certainly the original bulbs are pretty poor...

I'd like to try a the upgrade, if it's not too finicky...
