Can anyone identify this?

I am trying to identify this box fitted to the underside of my fuse box.... the knob on it turns like a fader.... what is it??  about the size of a cigarette box...

That 'Do-Da' is not an original fitment, aftermarket fitment of sorts. If the knob turns as you put like a fader; it could be connected to and amplifier of sorts considering the heavy cable for heavy loads; but should it unscrew it could be an additional fuse box.

Hi John Whilst it is located under the fuse box, do the wires to or from it originate or terminate in any of the identifiable fuse points? Given your other posts I'm sure you have looked at that already, but I never like to assume. If any of the above is true it might shed more light for the more informed on the forum to give you a view? Ta Simon

That's an aftermarket extra fuse box. Probably fitted to cater for additional add-ons. Extra lights? Extra sockets? That kind of stuff. I have a couple of them fitted.
