Best places to sell your G
Hi All,
Where are the best places to sell a G Wagen.
I'm probably happy to give it to a dealer for a (small!) commission.
I've 2 G's and one is not getting any use any more
It's a left hooker if that makes a difference- Done a genuine 55K miles 2003 G500- I've just had all the brakes and discs and rear suspension replaced with genuine OEM parts.

What ever medium you use to sell your G-Wagen; don't expect it to be a quick sale ordinarily. They can take up to six months or more before a sale.
If you do go down the broker/agent route be very careful. There's at least one guy sold cars and never passed on the cash. Also, be clear about how much you want to achieve.
Some "agents" can be eye-wateringly expensive 
If you decide to go that route, go personal recommendations and scrupulous due diligence.

Mobile.de is a good idea for a LHD if it takes too long to sell here.
please make public the companies you are considering handling the sale of your G , and any approaches via PM from individuals offering to help you dispose of your G.
please be so careful , one G wagen based company have a nice little number in 'taking a customers g in for sale and deliberately not attempting to sell the vehicle ,allowing the owner of the vehicle to become despondent /desperate /allowing the battery to fail /mot to run out etc etc / they then make a derisory offer for the vehicle and then sell it quickly once they own it - NICE (low life motor trade trick)

Thanks for all the good advice. I will take it all on board. Should probably not sell it this time of year, take it off sale and put it back on early winter- i imagine then it will fly- Its a great G. It drives better than my Brabus G63 and that's not a joke!
