Anyone got a roof rack for a 3 door?
Looking for a roof rack, but may make one if I can't get one for a decent price?
John, do a search website for 'roof rack' and there is a lot of discussion.
I suspect you want a whole platform style one, and they seem expensive if you can get one (2nd hand or custom).
But I like the suggestion of getting 2 or 3 roof bars, which will fit well on a 460 gutter, and work off that.

Making one isn't particularly hard at all, once you've learned the various approaches to connecting t slot. £280 all in, and rather cheaper than buying one, some of which look pretty flimsy.
Looks like a great job John. Basically 3 bars and then platform on top.
I like that it is not a box (useful for luggage tho) because you can strap down sheets of 8x4 more easily.

Thanks, I'm thinking about making one from aluminium t slot and fixing it with universal gutter mounts. Easy job, probably a couple of hours if I get the material ordered to size. Still looking at the options.
