Re: Anyone fancy a boat?

At my visit to the Gs' 20th anniversary at Graz, there was a G-Wagen floated by pontoons in the factory's pool (with large gold fish in it) propelled by the tyre threads alone; all diffs locked.

My requests for that video had fallen on deaf ears; rather they "boomeranged" the matter to Mercedes Benz where it was 'deaf eared'.

There was a floatable G that was done by amphie ranger a few years back - looked more G Wagen'ish. This one reminded me of the BJ80 Chinese rip off version of the G that was posted up earlier. It looks like a G from the side, but the front looks like a Toyota FJ Crusier... Nice and different though.

Is that the same one Mark? That does look very G Wagonish. I quite like the fact it doesn't look half boat like other amphibious vehicles. Not sure how good it would be proper off roading mind.

Thats the Amphi-Ranger.

Very G Wagen like indicators, G Wagen wheels too I believe.
