Hey guys. In a couple of days I'll be putting new rear springs and shocks on my 240GD. A mechanic told me to remember to adjust the ALB valve when putting new springs on a car. Is that right? Never heard of it before.

Re: ALB valve

ALB was used by Honda to denote anti lock braking, could it be the brake compensator valve at the rear?

Re: ALB valve
Hmm, it might be but why would that be influenced by changing the springs?

I'm sure he was referring to the brake compensating value.

Because of the change in ride height.

Aah, okay. Well the new springs have the same ride height so I guess it's a non-issue. Thanks.
