Air intake measurements please....
Wonder if any of you kind souls could do me a favour... see the picture
I'm after some measurements...
The air intake grill... I need the size of it, plus its location on the side of the wing/fender... from a common datum point... like maybe the angled edge of the wing?
I'm tinkering in the garage, and have some nicely bent up pipework (came off of an OshKosk truck actually....) and is ideal for a snorkel pipe. I used some of it on my old defender, but this piece I have here has a nice factory bend in it, which mates up perfectly to route around the edge of the wing and up the windscreen A pillar.

A suggestion; should no one come in with reply, I could (or you could) try getting in touch with customer services for the dimensions, but their great 'get out clause' is often as reply to me on vague enquiries is what is the vehicle registration? Or chassis number? Or they direct you to your local dealer and best of all is they don't give any reply.
If the grill cover is not too expensive, you would be better off ordering one and use that as a template.
Given my technical limitations i have just tried to price the above grille up as i seemed a great suggestion...
You are trying to fit a Air Intake Snorkel to the Right Side?
All the right side grilles are listed as Cooling Air Outlet A463 881 01 85 (OM60X) or A463 881 03 85 (OM61X)
All the left side grilles are listed as Cooling Air Inlet A463 881 00 85 (ALL)
I suppose this depends on what engine is fitted and from which side the Air Cleaner / Intake is mounted and maybe LHD / RHD?
Having said that all the Snorkel i have seen have been right side mounted?
Will price up tomorrow when system back live...

Yes, I'm planning to fit a snorkel to the RH side. Mine (a 460) currently has no intake there at all, hence why I was after the factory dimensions so I could keep it looking remotely standard-ish....
There's a 463 at my local MB dealers out the front for sale; might have to swing by there today with tape measure and camera....
