Re: 617a whats the difference

hi huss looks like you and Simon have a similar set up

my set up looks different as on the top of the rocker box

i have a vacuum valve for the kick down that connects to the green and red thing

in pic cox4 from eddie then that connects to a vacuum valve on

the ALTO gearbox to change gear + i have extra linkage rods to operate

it all YOU TWO HAVE IT EASYlaugh

the clamp is not necessary but if there is a correct part (may as well fit one)

you are 100% right about the snorkel nice cold air its just i dont like the idea

of driling a big hole in the wing to fit it on

I find the hand throttle most useful for winter morning cold starts. But I also use it if jump starting others or winching.

a few pics of todays progress. accelerator cabke seems to work ok..but there's too many bodge up wiring cables and hosework. these cypriots are not perfectionists..they accustomed to working on tractors. dickheads !

For my info, was the 617A originally intercooled? If not, should it be now?
