463 For Sale - does anyone know it?
All this rain - so will soon definitely need a G just to reach the main road..
Anyone know this one or have any comments from the description/photos before I make the call?

Major problem for me is that it's nearly 400 miles away - anyone recommend someone around Glasgow to do a vehicle inspection (better than AA/RAC and not at astronomic cost)?

Can't help, but I posted that one on the MBclub board as there's someone there looking for a G. Thought it looked good.
You would get a nice 500 for an extra 7K on top of the asking price... 10 miles away from me , i guess you could see both at the same time if fancy a trip to Scotland. don't like the steering wheel . Sure i have seen this for sale down south in the past ... Blue before ???
looks good at first sight but not much left from original.
Dont get a puncture its got no spare wheel unless its rolling about inside !

I would defiantly visit her before you purchase , as those photos on the link you provided are 'property of autotrader' .. meaning they are not actual images of the G wagon you will be purchasing.
We cant judge if the photos are not true to the vehicle.
But good luck in your search , keep us posted.
Mot a bit mean , would have thought at that money a year mandatory?

Do you know that for sure, I must say I would be surprised if the pictures shown are not the pictures of the car for sale. Indeed, he also shows pictures of the documents relating to the car. Would there not be issues regarding the Sale of Goods Act if the pictures shown were not those of the car for sale, if this was not made clear? As I say, I don't know, but I'd be really surprised if they were of another car.
advert say the car was serviced in there , that is also where my cars are serviced, just a phone call away ....

SORRY ALL!! ..especially Mark! ...I am wrong about the photos , I have used Autotrader many times but have failed to see that Private sellers use that motif. Because most make the writing very small , my bad .
okay .. feel like a idiot right now! ...
She looks really clean , but still think you should go and see her, see how she sounds and runs etc .
clean, alloys nice, the wood veneer has been painted and the steering wheel is a little loud, paint work is good and its the best colour the stainless steel exhaust another plus, nothing much to dislike, there are much pricier cars around
Thanks Alex.
I take on board what you say about seeing the car in person before purchasing.
Not sure you're right about the photos though. Autotrader put that on all private advert photos but my understanding is that these are actual photos of the car being advertisied.
