463 front clanking squeaking
Here's a strange one. A detectable clanking/rattle has started on the front left. I can hear it, and I can feel it through the steering wheel, but I can see nothing loose at all. It sounded like a heat shield was loose, and occurs at low speed just tootling along.
Anyone experienced similar? I am not sure when its on a ramp anything will be obvious. I recently had Bilstein shocks fitted and they look fine.
Has it only started since the shocks were replaced?
Have you checked front skid plate is tight, 17mm nuts x6, as this could foul your steering box if not tight?
Prone to bonnet buffer noises on later model's...
