460 suspension mount was broken
Today I was shock that I found the rear suspension mounting was broken. One of them has been totally removed. It is caused by the rusty for long long time! :( Now it is supported by the coil spring only! I will drive to garage ASAP! Can I drive gently now?
Do you mean shock mount or coil spring support, turret? Both repair sections are available from MB, about £45 for shock mount, not too bad to do in situ but find a good welder. Coil spring mount a bit more work but not as much as you think
I have driven mine on one shock, when it snapped on a trip. Suggest you remove shock asorber on broken side and drive with care. Get the repair section or console in M B parts language and replace as soon as possible.
these are usually the passenger side rear...is it the same with you?

You can buy the genuine mount for about £45

Thanks. I mean the shock mount. Coil spring is fine! One of the shock mount has been totally damaged. I hope it can be recovered by weld. Is it no immediate danger?
