Living on the West Coast of Scotland we prefer to have fixed (rather than sliding) rear side windows... so that is what we have just had put in.

As a consequence, we have a pair of rear side windows - both tinted and sliding - for sale.

They are unblemished and came out of our 1988 SWB 460.

Am I right in understanding that they would also fit straight into any G-Wagen, of any vintage, either SWB or LWB, please?

Many thanks.

Stay warm.

Stay dry.

Nick.

Re: 460 side windows

I think they will fit only a SWB, either 460 or 463. the LWB, of course has rear doors and the window in the 'boot' area is smaller.

They were quite common on the 460's, but not so much on the 463's. They are useful to have for extra ventilation in the rear, but all the seals need to be in good order or they will rattle and become annoying.(Seals are available as spares).

Re: 460 side windows

Thanks, Arnie, for a fount of much appreciated  knowledge.

They are indeed from my 1988  SWB 460.

A few GWOA folk have expressed interest in them.

The windows are tinted green, do slide and and do not rattle.

We live opposite the Isle of Mull with West Coast Weather and fixed windows suit us better, as you can imagine.

All the best, Nick.
