Hello fellow members, I can now offer a kit to easily convert the 460 to have a 463 radiator fitted (aluminium part no. 463 500 11 00). The kit includes bottom and top brackets, all rubber mounts needed, bottom clips, all bolts/nuts/washers, a template to modify the top cross member and some instructions. Re: 460 to 463 Radiator conversion

Not to be seen and known as a "kill joy" but what are the advantages of this conversion? Why fit in an over engineered (over engineered in the sense the W463 radiator has in built engine and gear box oil coolers) part to one that is perfectly designed for the purpose unless the W460 radiators are not available?

Other than that Good Luck with Regards.

Hi Rakish, the main reason would be after a repower with the likes of a 606/605 etc where more cooling is required. You can re core older radiators, or you can fit the later model.

Yes that makes sense - totally skipped my mind on that one.

Thanks for the reply.

Otherwise you might consider a recore of your current radiator. Various companies offer this service. I am not sure whereabouts you are. Northern Radiators of Leeds were very helpful to us some years ago. Good luck, Nick.

Sound advise from Nick. Just giving the cooling system a flush and using a descalent would be a good start.

HI Chaps, I have done a full flush, I ran clean water thrugh it for hours until it was clear, recore was done by one of the guys that owned it before, that said i have not looked and changed the thermostat so i think il do that next. That said, id still like a bigger rediator if anyone is reading this.
