Hello fellow members, I can now offer a kit to easily convert the 460 to have a 463 radiator fitted (aluminium part no. 463 500 11 00). The kit includes bottom and top brackets, all rubber mounts needed, bottom clips, all bolts/nuts/washers, a template to modify the top cross member and some instructions. Price is $250 plus any shipping (usd). Please PM me if interested. Scott

Re: 460 to 463 Radiator conversion

Not to be seen and known as a "kill joy" but what are the advantages of this conversion? Why fit in an over engineered (over engineered in the sense the W463 radiator has in built engine and gear box oil coolers) part to one that is perfectly designed for the purpose unless the W460 radiators are not available?

Other than that Good Luck with Regards.

Hi Rakish, the main reason would be after a repower with the likes of a 606/605 etc where more cooling is required. You can re core older radiators, or you can fit the later model.

Yes that makes sense - totally skipped my mind on that one.

Thanks for the reply.
