I'm putting a 2.9td Musso engine in my 300gd, does anyone know which sprinter sump I need?

Is it this one:

Also do I need the oil pump too?

Not that one....!!!

OM611 is 4 cylinder Euro4 cdi model

You need the OM602 5 cylinder one from the 210D 212D 310D 312D 410D 412D from the late 90's

Will try to look up part number later...

OM602.980 Sump from the Turbo Sprinter is A602 010 14 13

Earlier (same) versions are A602 010 07 13, A602 010 08 13 and A602 010 10 13.

Obviously the sump from the Turbo OM602.983 290GD will do!! A602 014 26 02

Also fitted to the OM602.930/931/938/939/942/946/947 NA 250GD and 290GD in earlier guise

A602 014 11 02, A602 014 25 02, A602 010 05 13 and A602 010 09 13

Of course the G type sumps are much rarer used, much more sought after and therefore command good prices

A new G types Sump was circa £300 last time i looked and i have seen used G ones going for similar!

Gasket for all is A647 014 00 22 or earlier A612 014 01 22, A605 014 00 22 and A605 014 01 22

Pretty much the same gasket on all 5 cylinder MB diesels OM602/605/612/662/647 NA/TURBO/CDI etc
