Greenoaks Mercedes Benzes 1st comment when I went to buy Brakes was

"We dont do G Wagens here sir!"

I argued that it has the required star on the Bonnet and got prices after20 mins as follows.

Rear Drums: £30 ea
Rear shoes £149 for pair.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody have any other ideas for drum suppliers?

yes tell them to get stuffed. Rear brakes re-lined at Acton commercial for 9 quid each. There in park royal NW10

Does the £149 include a surcharge? EG they want the old ones back to be relined? Mine had new shoes fitted just B4 i got it and that was the situation from MB dealer in Shrewsbury Shrops..

Don't discount your local motor factor - I keep finding all manner of G-parts at mine.
I was in the independent parts trade up to 4 years ago and the local Main Dealer was one of our biggest accounts... They used to say: "you can keep the boxes - we've got our own... we just need the parts" And with the change of box comes the change in price...
