For information.  Charlie Papworth at Papworth Air Conditioning, Cambridge has had some adaptor plates fabricated that enable conversion from the original York compressor to something more modern suitable for R134a such as a Sanden Corp SD7 H15. Unortunately the photos I took of the plate prior to fitting seem to be lost.  They need another hole drilling in them to fit the M110 but it is all quite obvious when the compressor is removed.

The York compressor that I replaced the original factory fitted one with seemed to leak with R134a having I think been designed in an earlier era (and made to a price in China rather than being the original USA manufacture) and although it might have been possible to change the seals for something that coped better with the smaller molecules of R134a it was also proving difficult to find a clutch assembly that had the right dimensions.

Therefore I have an essentially unused York compressor but not the right clutch available if its of any use to anyone.

If it's the square type 210 york compressor, then you should be able to get some good £££ for it, as they make ideal compressors for OBA... on board air.  I've got one sat in the garage along with an old lorry air brake tank ready for such a job.

They have an oil sump in them, which allows them a) to be mounted at various angles and b) doesn't require oil to be pumped down the air pipes to lubricate the compressor, and thus doesn't need a oil trap to stop oil getting up into airlines (OK if you're using a rattle gun, but not for airing up tyres)

This is a good place to visit for parts and ideas: http://www.kilbyenterprises.com/kits.htm

I've had some york 210 pullies off of him in the past.
