230 GE Auto 1989 - Mother-in-laws old car looking to sell - pls help
Hi
My Name is Richard Hitchcocx and my mother-in-law owns a 1989 230GE Auto Petrol that she has had for many years and is looking to sell but does not know who to speak to or how to go about it. It was last MOT'ed in 2022 which ran out in July2023 and has not been driven since and has been garaged. Currently SORN.
Lovely gwagon but has issues - in-laws bought it in 2005 after it was in an accident (salvaged) and used it infrequently but it had 10 previous owners and had 4,799 miles on the odometer (according to the MOT) so I have no idea what the real milage was uptil that point was. Since 2005 it has done < 16k.
Original interior as far as I can tell and in good condition.
Any advice as to who I should speak to is appreciated. I would far rather this go to an enthusiast than just sell it to the local garage.

Hi Richard,
Looks decent (I had to download and then open the picture). Assuming it is MOT close, and not a serious CAT insurance write off in the past, the value would be around £14k (+- 4k). I sold exactly the same for half that 6 months ago because it was in a bad way with body panel rust and was sat for too long after being a daily driver :(
The mileage is impossible to gauge partly because milometers are always failing in 460 models, even when the speedo is still working, so your personal estimate is as good a guide.
If you put an advert together, with more pics, I can get it put on here, and then other G sites will also pick it up (nothing gets past them!)
