2003 G270 Shocks Same as G500?

Hi, I have a 2003 G270 and I buy a lot of parts from the USA.  I see this set fits the G500 of the same year.  Like many non engine parts, will this set fit my G270 as well?  My parts lookup is not working currently.  I usually use that.

Secondary Question:

How much stiffer are the Bilstein B6s than the B4s?  I drive 98% on paved roads of varying quality and the rest dirt or trails.  I like the current ride not being too stiff, but I do notice more roll than I'd like.

They will fit, are you on standard wheels? I have B6 on my LC don't notice them being overly hard, but Sachs HD on the  G, best shocks I found were De Carbon but unfortunately now longer made.  Have you checked B6 in Germany for price?

Thanks for the response.  I am on standard wheels. 

I typically order from the USA when I can because there are usually not much in the way of import duties here from the US and parts arrive quicker.

I put B6 on my G350.  I think they are stiffer than the originals. 50GBP a piece from Autodoc. I would go softer next time.

I simply don't trust shipment from the US - you never know where it will get held up or end up.

I used Koni adjustable shocks.  Though realise they can only be adjusted at fitting time and not after (doh).

Where in the world are you, Steve? That might have a bearing on where you source your parts. We are in Scotland (which is still part of the UK) and have done well in terms of price, convenience and availability with Autodoc (Germany) so far - although we have not bought anything since 31 December, 2020... Are you sure they are shot? If you want more comfort go for B4, or koni on softest setting,  Larkspeed do koni for a good price

Yes, they are shot.  Our roads were in really bad shape during the previous mayor's administration. 

Good to know on the B6's!

I'm on a little island off the North coast of Central America, called Roatan.  We have a direct boat once a week from Miami, so  Amazon is pretty foolproof for us.  Typically order on Monday and get it a week from Wednesday.

Sounds nice place,  for comfort,  Sachs HD shocks, have a very  expensive list  price but usually a good discount in Europe anyway!
