Years ago I bought a C Class boot liner from a car boot as I thought it would come in useful for bathing a Bernese Mountain Dog Puppy. Alas my lovely wife Nancy couldn’t stop feeding the puppy and she eventually grew too much and was far too big for the ‘Custom Fit’ Dog Bath. (The Pup not Nancy !)

However, the other weekend I was emptying an old shed at the bottom of the garden and came across my thrifty £4 purchase…..

Would this fit into the G Wagen?

Pictures of it below in my LWB 463 which is great for trips to the tip and builders yard etc. (Please spot the highly technical modifications that I have to meticulously plan and execute)

Thought I’d just share the love as this was the best £4 I've spent in ages and saved Sherlock Helme all the agro of trying to source me something suitable.

Happy Booting J

At the risk of sounding a bit dense, what is it? It looks like a liner for a small pickup. I keep all my junk in an old ammunition box but I  am afraid mine would still end up smelling of dog. Gorgeous dog by the way

Caroline,

Yes it is a bit like a truck liner but designed to fit into a C Class saloon boot but luckily fits straight into the G. It's really useful if you want to fully protect the carpet from any spills etc..

Probably a bit of a nerdy post but I thought someone might find it useful to know as there are not too many decent G Wagen boot liners available from new :-)

If I really wanted to get technical I could say it was a conversion from a Diesel 605 C Class Saloon..that way some V8 owners could have a slice of Diesel in their G 500's :-)

The lip stops your carrots, turnips and swedes falling on the floor when you open the door....

Well that as near a technical as you will get from me.....
